I hope that any woman whose husband is about to or is working in baku has the sense to read this and is more "savvy" than I was 15yrs ago .
My husband was
made redundant in England . Work was not easy to come by and he had been unemployed for several months. He was offered a well paid job in baku. I was uneasy but he went to support us . For the first two years it was fine . We had a great marriage but then he changed towards me . He also had some health issues so I put it down to that . No need to question him we had been together for 25yrs and had 2 teenage sons whom we adored. Things got much worse but I plodded on. ! 10 yrs later I found a letter !! She was in love with him but needed more money!! It turned out he had been keeping her and her THREE SONS for 10years. We did not part and i genuinly believe him when he says once introduced she was everywhere he was.
She had a young family( I did too!) and no husband . Perhaps I would have done the same to support my children but she never had a proper job ( I worked all our married life) So please when you Azeri women are upset by the comments from the outside world - look to your sisters .Are they really as good and pure as you think.
I stayed in baku last year and was SHOCKED by the number of expat men living with and having children with Azeri women.Most had wives and children in Britain.
Hi my husband has just left me and our four children to live with a prostitute from Baku and her children! She is almost 20 years his junior and he was due to retire soon. I was so stupid not to do my research on this place. Baku is teaming with prostitutes desperate to catch an oil worker who they see as incredibly rich. We had been happily married for 33 years andhad a wonderful life which he has thrown away to live with this woman. Please be careful and do not let your husbands work in this terrible place. These prostitutes are everywhere. I think my husband must have lost his mind.
ReplyDeleteHi, just want to tell you my story about my time in Baku. I was working in Baku (single at the time) and started seeing a girl. She was younger than me and met her in a bar. Well the long and short of it is that she turned out to be a prostitute and she stole my credit card and stole £17,000 and then a further £6000! She was a drug taker and fell pregnant and tried to put me as the father. A DNA test was done and it was not my child. Also her family became involved and I was expected to pay them money as well. In the end I had to leave the country as she came to the office I worked in and it all was a total nightmare. Baku has a thin veneer of respectability but underneath it lays corruption, greed, prostitution and crime. I wish I had never gone to the country and I have seen for myself the expats with the trophy new young girlfriends and wives. The women over there will drain you dry of all your money and the main aim for them is for the unexpecting male to befriend them, buy a house (legally over there only Azari’s can own property so it goes in their name) and then they get dumped and they take the property. I have seen this done so many times and i know of 2 people this happened to. Please beware of working over there!
